• Ask her what areas of service or ministry she is able to provide. If needed, look for small but significant ways she can participate. What she needs most is to be included.
  
• Help her discover and develop her talents, skills, and ministries.
  
• Include her in planning special events and building/remodeling plans.
  
• Use her insight to encourage community outreach.
  
• Encourage her to speak to your Women's Ministries and Missionettes. Involve her in panel discussions.
  
• Give her an opportunity to mentor and to be mentored. She has a wealth of experience that can strengthen another's faith.
  
• Encourage her to develop a special needs support group and/or Bible study.
