It's that time of the year again when local churches make a point of recognizing one of their great assets—Women's Ministries. This February 24 is dedicated to encouraging Christian women to remember the foundation of their ministry—using their God-given gifts to build up the body of Christ.
"This is why I remind you to fan into flames the spiritual gift God gave you when I laid my hands on you" (2 Timothy 1:6, New Living Translation). We need to remember that the gifts and power bestowed on us by the Holy Spirit do not automatically remain strong and vital. Rather, God's grace must fuel them through prayer, faith, obedience, and diligence.
When Christian women fan the flames of their gifts, incredible things occur. With the help of the Holy Spirit, hearts are moved, lives are changed, and entire communities are impacted. Join us this year in calling women to remembrance.
Scripture: 2 Timothy 1:6
