In order to promote each Ministry Group in your Women's Ministries, spotlight a different group at each of your meetings.
The following are some suggestions. Adapt according to your situation and schedule.
January: Intercessory Prayer
February: Bible Study
March: Missions
April: Church Hospitality
May: Auxiliary Sponsors
June: Women Alone
July: Literature
August: Visitation
September: Business and Professional Women
October: Communications
November: Senior Women
December: Crafts
Other areas that may be featured are music, records and reporting, treasurer, and practical ministries to the elderly and shut-ins.
Reserve a special section for members of the Ministry Group being featured. Introduce the chairperson and each woman by name. Describe briefly the purpose of the groups and let them share a summary of their activities. For example, if they are involved in crafts, they may wish to display samples. Members of a prayer group could share their experiences of answered prayer. Someone for whom they prayed could tell how she was helped.
Keep your enthusiasm high and vary your program to keep the women interested.
