"For I know the plans I have for you…" (Jeremiah 29:11).
Have you reached the point in your life where you are content with who you are and what you are doing with your time?
If Jesus comes for His Church tomorrow, will you be satisfied that you have used your life well and have done your best?
Do you stop and think about why you were created, or do the tasks of each day absorb so much of your energy that you don't have time to think?
If you are single, you may be pursuing lofty career goals. If you are married, your hopes, dreams and plans are woven together with your husband's. When two people become one, they must become one in vision. Two people who have the same vision for their lives can accomplish a great deal.
If you are a wife and mother, you will want to create a long-lasting, loving marriage. You will want to see your children healthy and well-educated with families of their own someday. Is there more?
I believe so. God creates each individual for a purpose, giving each a task to do. Finding that task and accomplishing it satisfies us, making us content with our lives and feeling we have made a difference in our world.
How do you know what your purpose is? God will tell you if you ask Him.
