Celebrate Bible Sunday

Celebrate Bible Sunday in the Assemblies of God on December 10, 2006, by encouraging the women of your church to make a renewed commitment to the study and application of God’s Word in their daily lives. The Unlimited! Bible study series, designed specifically for Pentecostal women by the national Women’s Ministries Department, will help women experience spiritual transformation as they encounter Jesus in His written Word.

As women think ahead to resolutions for the New Year, challenge them to make daily time in God’s Word a fresh emphasis for 2007.

Each of four Bible study books contains eight lessons. Each lesson features multiple components such as: an engaging introduction, Bible reading, application and insight, caricatures of biblical women, a Pentecostal perspective, reflective questions, prayer and journaling. Each lesson can be used in its entirety or broken into smaller segments, making it convenient for an evening or lunch-hour Bible study for working women.

Some women’s groups have used the monologues of biblical women, complete with costumes, for dramatic use at group Bible studies, or as an illustrated sermon at a women’s event. While the variety of components appeals to all ages, young women in particular are attracted to the use of narrative story as found in the monologues of Bible women.

The four titles include: A Woman’s Unlimited Potential, A Woman’s Inner Life, A Woman’s Influential Relationships and A Woman’s Impact on Her World.
